Panoche Valley Winter '10

The November trip was marked by an irruption of MOUNTAIN BLUEBIRDS. While some observers saw almost a thousand, I only managed 242 birds. Otherwise, it was an almost perfectly calm, warm day.

Dan Singer and I returned in March and were fortunate to have MOUNTAIN PLOVERS in an unusual location right next to Little Panoche Road
